The staff was amicable and excellent and great to deal with.

I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel and would stay here again. Everything was great, magnificent location close enough to Okehampton, the centre of the village and a beautiful garden, fabulous short experience. At the restaurant, the breakfast was more than adequate with a huge spread.

It's a shame the Wi-Fi connection was spotty!!! The nearby pub could have better evening hours to enhance local dining options!!! The lack of en suite facilities may not suit everyone's needs!!!

The beautiful single room was comfy with a tv and free toiletries. The shared bathroom was kept super clean, and the lovely host made us homemade biscuits and tea on arrival. Breakfast was a feast with freshly prepared items, including homemade jams and crispy bacon. The location is super peaceful, surrounded by beautiful gardens.

It was a great fit for a brief retreat in Northlew with a good price-value balance. The owner, Martin, is very charming and cute. Bring good walking shoes for exploring the area.
